Mindtree Interview Experience

It consisted of totally 4 rounds.

1) Aptitude round: 

It was conducted by AMCAT. you will be tested in your logical,quantitative,analytical abilities. It was pretty hard. Around 500 people took the test and only 50 made to the second round.

2) Coding Ability: 

It was on the same day. People who cleared the first round are allowed to take the coding ability test. Most of them got pattern problems, string problems and some other general problems. But the main problem is that we are supposed to solve two questions in 1 hour time. So atleast completing one and other partially will guarantee your place in the third round. And only 8 people made it to the third round.

3) Technical HR round: 

We are called to another college for face to face technical HR. To my surprise, There were students from 6 other colleges were there along with our college. A total of around 100 students from 6 college were supposed to attend the third round. They started at 8 in the morning. And the panel who was supposed to interview our college students was not there, so they arranged for a skype interview to our college students. It consisted of only one person. My turn came at 1 in the evening. Each guy was interviewed for an average of one hour. If the HR felt that you are incapable, then he will reject you immediately. It was a plus for us, because atleast we wouldn't be waiting till the end. And I was asked some personal questions at start, and slowly he went to technical. I cleared my Technical HR interview and was passed on to Personal HR. And around 30 people were passed on to next round

4) Personal HR: 

My turn came at 8 pm in the night. I was asked some general questions like "tell me about yourself",etc. and he was pretending that he was not even listening and when I mentioned about my final year project he told it was a stupid idea. I understood that it was a stress interview and I also acted accordingly. Each candidate was interviewed for an aerage of 40 mins. After a wait of another 3 hours we were called into the room and they called our names and told that we are selected.
